Hey! I've read some of your comments on [livejournal.com profile] mairzydotes's journal, and I share with you interests in nontraditional relationships and writing. You seem fun and interesting, so I thought I'd see if you'd like to be friends. :)

Congratulations on the wedding!

My relationship isn't THAT non-traditional...just non-possessive. :^) But we're boring anyway and way too much in love to bother with other people!

Hm, that wasn't a good way to reply. :^P I start turning all rambly and defensive and silly! Actually I've always liked your LJ icon and wanted to be your friend for a while, so I guess I'm a psychic!

I'm sorry! When I said "non-traditional" I was referring to the age difference and the elopement, neither of which are all that non-traditional when it comes down to it, I suppose. :)

Aww, it gives me warm fuzzies to hear that you wanted to be my friend too. Thanks for adding me!

Haha, sorry! Now here I am jumping to ridiculous conclusions. Our mutual friend is in a "poly" relationship so I assumed you meant THAT kind of non-traditional. Which we kind of are and kind of aren't.

But yes, the 13-year age-gap and elopement were rather strange by a lot of people's standards. I can barely look at men my own age.
